General Terms and Conditions
All
awards will be shipped to the name and address of the enrolled
participant. If you wish to transfer your awards you must
contact your Marketing Coordinator for a release form.
Specific Terms and Conditions
Sports Travel Awards
Reservations: All awards are for land packages only
for two people, except The Masters Golf Tournament Double
Eagle award which is for four people. Airfare
is not included and is the responsibility of the participants.
Awards must be
booked at least 12 weeks prior to date of a certain event. All
bookings cannot be cancelled, and participant forfeits all
award miles for a booked award in the event that said
participant cannot attend for any reason.
Event tickets
run of house (ROH) are subject to availability. In the event
of overbooking, participant will be advised of hotel
substitution, with a credit of total award miles optional.
The Masters
Golf Tournament reservations must be booked by December 12,
2001.
Cancellation
and Refunds: In the
event of cancellation or postponement of a certain event,
Award Headquarters shall not be responsible for accommodations
or transportation beyond the scheduled date of the certain
event.
Award Headquarters will credit award miles back to the
participant only to the extent that refunds are available to
Award Headquarters.
Award
Headquarters reserves the right to cancel any reservations and
will credit total award miles back to the participant.
Requirements:
Award Headquarters will not
guarantee transfers on days other than arrival and departure
days named in any package.
Requests for
more than two seats (tickets) together cannot be guaranteed.
Participants receive run of house (ROH) tickets which means
seats can be located anywhere in the venue.
NCAA - Award
Headquarters does not guarantee tickets in pairs.
Disclaimers:
Award Headquarters is acting as
intermediary and agent for suppliers in selling services, or
in accepting reservations or booking for services which are
not directly supplied by this company such as hotel
accommodations, ground transportation, meals, tours, event
tickets and cruises. Award Headquarters and its agents shall
not be responsible for breach of contract or any intentional
or careless actions or omissions on the part of such
suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay, or injury
to you or your travel companions or group members. Award
Headquarters and its agents shall not be responsible for any
injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler in
connection with terrorist activities, war, insurrection,
social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction
difficulties, diseases, local laws, climactic conditions,
abnormal conditions or developments or any other actions,
omissions or conditions outside the company’s control. By
embarking upon his/her travel, the traveler(s) voluntarily
assumes all risks, and is advised to obtain appropriate
insurance coverage against them. Your retention of tickets,
vouchers, or booking after issuance shall constitute a consent
to the above and an agreement on your part to convey the
contents here to your travel companions or group members.
The participant
acknowledges the position of Award Headquarters and its agents
as stipulated by the foregoing and agrees to hold all parties
blameless in making the arrangements on his/her behalf,
provided same shall be made through generally acceptable
suppliers at the time of engagement, and further agrees that
restitution of damages, if any are claimed, shall be sought
directly from the suppliers. The participant also agrees to
the terms and conditions of the tour and services as set forth
by the suppliers. Award booking constitutes consent of all
provisions stated herein.
Occasionally
errors occur despite all efforts to proofread for accuracy.
Award Headquarters reserves the right to reject a merchandise
order due to typographic errors in the web site, catalog, or
Program Rules.
